Ally Bee Homewares launch
I am very pleased to announce the arrival at Ally Bee of a small homewares line of beautiful blanket throws knitted in pure and very soft British alpaca. The alpaca yarns used to craft the blanket throws are commissioned from a small spinning mill in Dorset using the softest part of fleece collected from the annual shearing of small alpaca flocks in the region. British provenance is guaranteed in every aspect of production.
These Blanket Throws come in 4 colour-ways in shades made from careful colour blends of alpaca fleece to make shades of Cream, Grey & Taupe. Ally Bee alpaca yarns are completely dye-free and super soft with meticulous attention paid to finishing each blanket in the small factory who produced these exclusively for Ally Bee. The blankets are sized 130 x 180 cm, perfect for draping over a sofa, armchair or bed. These blankets are understated in colour-blocked, neutral tones to suit interiors from the minimalist to the ornate, from urban to country. A touch of timeless elegance, but most certainly out of the ordinary.
Special thanks to lifestyle & fashion blogger & photographer Julia Rebaudo of Stylonylon for product photography and styling for our inaugural homewares range. It was a pleasure working with Julia on this! You can see more of Julia’s fabulous photos and style notes at Stylonylon, and also her styling of the Ally Bee range in a feature blog from AW14.
