Ally Bee's Featherlight Alpaca Scarf is an elegant lightweight transitional piece for wrapping up warm as the days get colder. This is a scarf to be appreciated by the knitwear officionado. Each scarf is knitted on a manually operated machine, and the striping is created through a single row cast off and tied by hand at the row's end. The yarn, British alpaca, is bespoke-spun in Dorset for Ally Bee in a natural cloudy grey from the annual clip of alpacas reared on smallholdings in the south of England.
Knitted on traditional hand-frames in a long-established factory in the Scottish Borders, with minimal wastage in production and produced in small volumes.
